chxin writing subjects were: reading comprehension, verbal reasoning (qualitative) and 2 writing pieces (persuasive and creative)

any ways to maximise getting superior in trst e.g cherry picking or is cherry picking un effective

chxin Bro no.1 tip I would give you for the year 9 entry exam (I assume?) is to remember that each question is allocated one, singular mark. In other words, don't stress yourself too much when you are faced with long, wordy questions while writing the exam. Try to attempt easier questions first, then move on to the harder questions. Also remember, you only have a limited slot of time available for each test you take, so another thing I would recommend is learning how to approach a question backwards. Trust me, it really does help you in situations where you are not getting a plausible answer. Gl on your exam btw!!

.. also dont be sad, this acer test isn't indicative of how well you will perform at school and during vce, its just aptitude tests

MMHS Yeah, but maybe it's just cus they already had experience with the selective test the year before. But it also a bit harder to get superior because you have to be in the top 100 to get one, as only around 1000 people do the test for year 10 entry for all four schools. Compared to year 9 entry where 500 people can get superior. But it is all relative.
