Dosanjh (NHS) but are your parents or whoever is taking you, willing to spend that long driving you each day?

MMHS 😭 My dad is willing to drive me to MHS but he might maybe let me go to Nossal.
But if I get an offer at Suzzanne he will most likely make me reject the offer because its all the way in Werribee.

.. I'm not really sure because my dad said he I put MHS as my only preference I'll most likely get into MHS but if i also added Nossal to my second I might just get an offer to there instead of MHS.

Dosanjh (NHS) my parents said suzzane yes mhs yes and nossal maybe if ptv works although then i gotta drop out of alot of things as time cosuming to get from one to another

I kinda also wanted to go to Suzzanne but it is just too far

Dosanjh (NHS) why only preference mhs?? If you put nossal you could have gone, its better than nothing

nossal high is popular cuz its in the middle (i think) of the other 3 schools, its not that far from anywhere tbh

nah its not in the middle, its east of melbourne, mhs and macrob are in close proximity with the city, and suzanne cory if to the west of melbourne. So mhs and macrob are the ones sandwiched.

MMHS No I haven't taken the test yet, I'm doing it next year but I also told him Nossal is also a great school and it isn't that far even though MHS are closer.

asianasen No Nossal is in the east and MHS and Mac. Rob are in the middle and Suzanne is stranded in the middle of Werribee.

a📀 That is true but here in Australia, Hinduism is the fastest growing religion meaning there are even more Indians who keep coming to Australia which is another reason why.
Also coming from an authentic Indian person, our parents always push us in our studies to become a topper and overall get a good job in life like Doctor and Lawyer
            (Not really stereotypical)

chxin So I basically will do tuition but you know it's the holidays so I replicate the exam by creating my own answer sheets and doing the exam test papers as well as studying the content of the exam by using online resources.

chxin i went to james an on friday afternoons, but for the days prior to that and the days after friday that week, i would keep reviewing my mistakes on my james an tests, do like 3-5 practice tests a day, and keep trying to get better at the things i was worse at (mostly some math parts). I didn't focus tooo heavily on english components because I was pretty confident on them, but for the last like 2 weeks i did a few writing practice tests, and a few vr and rc tests. I studied for sehs each day, probably around 2-3 hours a day, but i also had to keep up with my normal school work which wasn't too hard. Overall, the key is to be consistent and positive. From the time school starts this year for you, and to any other year 8's going for sehs, you must go full out. The test day is around 5 months away, a long time to practice
