idkwhattoput Anonymous_101 hi! im taking the test for macrob this year. do you have any study or prepation tips? any help would be appreciated. thanks!!!
MHS successful candidate Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) It would be funa nd relaxing to do when u are nervous before the test and expect it to be hard and it turns out to be easy, i guess js expeectation
Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) MHS successful candidate Thats not what I meant but I don't think it will be easy uh sure ig
Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) idkwhattoput think of it as a game, every question you get down adds a point and when you double check it, you get bonus points and if you do good you get a reward
chxin Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) then do it this year, i think you can just try like that kid @MMHS mentioned
MauryanBroski idkwhattoput someone in nossal is born in 2012 while the rest of us are born in 2010, for context he skipped a grade is born a year earlier so he is 2 yrs younger than the majority of the cohort but is crazy smart
chxin Does anyone know what reading texts there will be for example poetry if so you do know pls respond and tell me all. @chxin @Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) @rahh @MMHS @mhsbandar @a.. @MHS successful candidate @Chakraboi @Sierra @..
rahh chxin uhm i think theres usually like poetry, cartoons, short excerpts of narratives and sometimes short informative texts. i mean this is what usually comes in the JAC tests
a.. chxin honestly off the top of my head from reading i don't even remember reading any texts but i can give you some practice tests ive found
Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) chxin maybe poetry, informative articles/reports or interview reports, narratives, texts from magazines.
a.. a.. but i think definitely a big tip for reading is to read the questions first and then read the text and definitely get used to skimming and scanning texts. I think there will be small pieces of texts but im not entirely sure
