MMHS kinda useless advice. Not being hostile or anything it just that they probably already know that but want more people to help them.

MMHS *Not all. just a few. **cough2cough **

Sierra Vocab: Read "1100 words you should know" get the free pdf btw, then do AT LEAST 5 words a week. Also whenever you are watching Youtube or a show and a word is unfamiliar to you try to search up that word, remember its meaning, and then apply it a sentence. For example when I was watching Korra(don't bully me pls I was bored af) the earth queen said "magnanimous" and I was like "What the hell is that" so I searched it up then said a sentence in my head that described someone as magnanimous. It's the atomic habits that really help you in the long run, always remember that.

I don't really have any tips for writing. Didn't do a single practice essay before my year 10 entry test ☠️

Sierra For vocab you should try pick up new words in everyday life, like if you hear an unfamiliar word search it up or write it down for later
Words are better picked up through repetition so try to revise them often..

But knowing more words obviously won't be as helpful as it seems since there's a low chance they'll actually be on the test.. though practicing guessing (educational guess) words through context and word roots does help a lot!!

During a test if you come across a vocab question, identifying common word roots like anthro, un, exo, etc can narrow it down and if it's placed in a sentence of course use context the best way you can.. always an educated guess is better than skipping it which is obvious but important to remember lol
