  • vce notebook/folder setup (help!)

hello!!
i'm currently in year 10 (subject selection is happening rn) and these are the subjects that i plan to do in year 11:

english language 1/2
religion & society 1/2
biology 1/2
health and human dev 3/4
chemistry 1/2
math methods 1/2

i was wondering what sort of organisation i would need for this specific set of subjects, such as whether or not i'd need two notebooks for each subject (e.g. one for notes, one for exercises), as well as how i would set up a binder for each.

any kind of help or tips would be appreciated, thank you!

can't help much on the others but for methods my school used a handouts folder (our notes tended to be fill in the blank handouts), workbook, textbook (i usually used the online version though), and I rewrote all of my sac notes from handouts into one bound reference for the end of year exam slowly over the course of the year

id also recommend keeping some loose leaf for methods bc i kept having to tear out pages from my workbook whenever we would need to do like games and challenges and stuff like that

don't sweat it if it takes you a bit to figure out a system that works for you. year 11 is mostly just practice for year 12

ctrl+alt tysm!! do u have any further tips for yr 11 methods (i would've chosen to do pre-methods this yr but i was too scared to sadly)

to be super transparent with you i dropped it in year 12 bc my school scheduled it so it clashed with my VET music so my math scores gradually got worse.
BUT def take advantage of tutoring if your school offers it for free (even if you think you understand everything they can probs help explain things in a more concise way or give you ideas on what to practice more with). if your teacher offers to help students during recess and lunch, go. ask for help when you're confused (doesn't have to just be your teacher or a tutor - ask your friends, they may be able to explain it in an easier way). take advantage of edrolo if you use it t your school and lowkey Eddie Woo's youtube videos have saved my life a few times
