din ty, and to answer your next question, I had like twenty practice tests(5 for each multiple choice) from my friend and did those and analyzed those questions I did right(but guessed) and got wrong, then If I didn't understand a math concept or a word I would go online and search it up or go to my private tutor(general, not selective tutor) and ask them to explain. For vocab I had used an online pdf of "1100 words you should know" and did like 50 words a week and other sources like word hippo, ALSO READ ATLEAST LIKE 5-20 PAGES A DAY or do articles they help when speed running reading comprehension. I don't really have any tutors to recommend for SEHS just that my JMSS course did help with the SEHS math and numerical reasoning tests(not worth going there just for those two tests tho). Just self study in you own time and btw, I didn't do a single practice writing for narrative or persuasive 💀 but don't be like me.

If you want those practice tests you could ask my friend, but he's banned on Atar Notes ☠️

din i reckon find a tutor for math and use their practice papers, from my acer experience even yr 10 textbooks are different to what actually is covered on the exam

din its good but if you want to get in a sehs, (not jmss) then you need to basically be within the top 2-5 kids that sit that test, out of like the 200 kids that sit it, jmss is different but see how you mentioned you will 'start' learning an instrument and start doing swimming, this doesn't add to your repertoire, and seems forced if you get what i mean. ive done my research, suzanne accepts 20 kids at yr 10 and about idk this but maybe 400 sit it every year. If i study rlly hard its not impossible. I can swim and im not doing it js for selective ive been meaning to do it for a while now but cuz my mum wanted me to focus on dance and studies we didnt do that, but now we have a good opportunity to start it. And for the instruments ive done piano for 2-3 yrs, but quit cz of covid i had to stop and im going to re start it now. And no offence i appreciate ur help and all but id like to hear from ppl who actually went through the yr 10 sehs process and see what they have to say about my preparation. Its hard for u to help when you’re successful, but congrats on ur offer.

din In the auditorium there were like 415 stickers that had a number on them( one for each test taker to sit on), so probs 300 tried year 10 entry and 100 tried year 11 entry.

din idk, I just had really good parents who know that I wanted to so a sport so they saw some facebook ad for a community soccer event and wanted me to go there. Maybe ask your school for anything, like help with cultural day or interschool sports. Participate in Clean up day australia( forgot real name)

MayTree Great job on getting an interview! I recommend looking at past atar note archived forums about SCHS year 10 entry. All I know is that there will be a group task and then an indiviual interview after that. They might also bring up things from your cv so be prepared for that.
