NOSSALSUCCESSBUTNOTGOING MMHS i swear james an is not accurate and they still have so many ppl get in
MMHS NOSSALSUCCESSBUTNOTGOING nah james an is good for english and some parts of maths, they extend you a lot which is good but also bad, overall rate them a 7-8/10
MMHS well i guess some of the best advice for future students: Don't be pessimistic, me and others made this mistake when having a positive outlook increases hope and relieves the mind, this is a very hard thing to do tho Don't worry if your friends have had way more time to study than u, one of my friends did tt6 and tt8 so like almost 3 years experience and didn't get in, while i manages to get in with like 3 months because I used my materials well and used them over and over. I heard people saying to read books but honestly this didn't really help in the 3 months i had so I just bought a vocab book Don't piss around in your tutoring, you may regret it Ask for help Watch Arnav Kadian bc he legit saved me from pessimism at rock bottom lol
MMHS but still lol, you can get pretty much just as good at hendersons as james an, james an is probs better with eng but hendersons maths, but paying 1000 extra lol
din do yous know how to improve writing, like make it deep instead of shallow, i wna start improving myself cuz i cant get a priv tutor rn cuz of stuff. any tips woulb be appreciated. ty
.. din My friend last year when he did the test had a method that I thought was really stupid but worked really well for him(he got superior). Basically all he did was memorize really intricate lines that can be used broadly then implement it in different scenarios depending on the prompt. I actually used this method for my writing this year for year 10 entry although I haven't gotten my results yet. One example I did was use "that tearful stare encroached straight into my soul" which basically meant "The sad person was staring at me and I felt sad for them". But biggest tip is to read literature and high level novels which was specified before.
mhsbandar you guys have any recommendations on what to read to build vocab and get better at writing? i am quite stumped rn and while i would say my vocabulary is decent, my writing needs some desperate help
