š hi! iām more than happy to help, iām averaging around a 90.
first thing first; do NOT listen to your parents discouragement. rather use their discouragement as a source of motivation, like a āHA i proved you wrongā moment. only YOU know what you are capable first and foremost, and it is extremely evident that youāre being proactive in trying to do your best.
do you have the cambridge checkpoints for psychology? they would be really good to use if you have them, and if you donāt, they are $28 if you are able to purchase. if not, there are plenty of trial exams on vce.rocks to use (practice questions, regardless of subject, are the best form of revision for unit 3/4.)
try getting into good habitsā completing multiple choice questions in 30 minutes, practicing 10 markers in 18-20 minutes, timed exam conditions. try studying between 9am and 11:45am as this is the time of the psych exam, to form that routine.
also use flashcardsā i am more than happy to link mine and another userās flashcards if you wish. easy form of revision, and can identify areas of strengths and weaknesses before doing questions.
and finally, use the traffic light system. get each dot point on the study design and label it either green (you KNOW this), yellow (you need to review) or red (what the hell is this).
hope this helps!!
