any feedback on this book presentation would be appreciated!

The Outsiders is a fictional novel written regarding the conflict between two gangs, The Socs (which is slang for Socials) and the Greasers. The name the Greasers is given by the symbolism of the Greaser’s hair. This book is written in the point of view of the protagonist, Ponyboy. Ponyboy lives with his two brothers, Darry and Sodapop. Their parents passed away in a car crash a couple of years before this was written. The death of their parents took a detrimental impact on their lives, but primarily Ponyboy. This distraction caused his grades to plummet, and to be involved in fights that could put his life at risk. Dally and Johnny are two of their closest friends and are also a part of the Greasers. Soon after, Ponyboy and Johnny pick up two of the Soc’s girls at the drive in theater, infuriating two of the Soc’s, Bob and Randy. These four shortly had a second encounter at the park, where Ponyboy was being drowned by the two boys. Johnny couldn’t just watch his friend die in front of his own eyes, so he grabbed his switchblade and stabbed Bob. There rest of them ran off. Johnny was officially a criminal. His name made newspaper headlines, causing the town to believe he was a miscreant who wanted unnecessary attention. They ran over to Dallys’s house where they grabbed essential items and ran off to a rural, old church.

YR10SEHSASPIRANT . "The main character, ponyboy, unravels the systemic problems of the Socs and Greasers laced within the world of "The Outsiders", forcing himself to run away from the authorities to maintain his friendships and keep his family together without his parents. Throughout this action filled drama: tragedies, conflicts, and friendships sprout. With the epicenter of this novel revolving around a death at the hand of the lower class member Johnny, Ponyboy's friend."

This is just a couple of sentences I came up with about it if you are trying to convince your tutor. Not really helpful for a synopsis though. Might have waffled ☠️

.. but my tutor wrote this. and a short summary of character and plot development

fun fact: i almost cried reading that book (if you haven't noticed already, I'm a weirdo)
          ?

YR10SEHSASPIRANT Well it's not bad(more tailored towards essays) BUT you have FOUR BLOODY MINUTES to get your point across about the novel and present. So I think instead of already spoiling the events of the novel just highlighting the main point of what the author wanted to convey. It would be more convincing to read the novel in my opinion(just an opinion, remember always your choice)

.. wait i don’t understand for the audience to read the novel? Bc if thats the case i dont think it would work as she has clearly stated to explain the story

YR10SEHSASPIRANT Wait what I'm so confused, earlier you said, " this is js a synopsis but in later paragraphs im meant to persuade my tutor to read the book" So I thought you meant the prompt was to convince people to read the book. Mb if I interpreted wrong. Also if your tutor did that, why did they only do half of the story?

if ur tutor wrote that then its kinda low quality ngl, kinda abrupt, not flowy sentences, vocab is also of a mediocre quality

                    1. MMHS nah it was mine and reading back ik i have to fix it up js is js putting ideas down

.. nooooo i did it our prompt is to persuade and we have to write a short synopsis at the start
