Dr. Jess 😉 Year eleven was one of my favourite years tbh. I finally got to choose classes I enjoyed and a lot of the people who didn't really care either left or switched to VM so i was working in evironments with others that cared a little more.
As someone who's been playing the comparison game my entire academic life, I know it's hard but it's so much better for you to focus on you improving, not where abouts you stand in the class because at the end of the day you won't even know where your cohort stands in the state average and its a geussing game that causes more stress than its worth. Also I think it's really important to note that B's are not bad scores at all and you should still be proud of yourself.
My biggest tips for year eleven is find a good social support group, run your own race and choose classes that you enjoy or want to learn, not classes you pick for an ATAR score because you will do better if you enjoy the study, and also you will not have a fun 2 years if you pick subjects you hate.
Let yourself have some fun with it and find ways to practice self-care, whether its a hobby, routines or just looking after yourself because VCE can be a lot, but it's not neccessarily evil.
Plus you can always reach out for help with friends or here, whether its general life questions or subject-specefic most of us on here are trying to be as helpful as we can.
Goodluck and you've got this!
