  • I am a student going into grade 12 next year in QLD. I have the following subjects:

    1. English
    2. English & literature extension
    3. Biology
    4. Physics
    5. Engineering
    6. Mathematical methods
I want to go into university as an aerospace engineer (Aeronautical) and I am thinking, if I have messed up by not choosing Specialist maths? Can this mistake be fixed later on by acquiring the knowledge from a bridging course or have I done myself in?
The course's prerequisites page (In QUT which is my main preferance) states that I need "Methods or specialist mathematics" but I am wondering how much more difficult my life will be since I have not done specialist math.

Any piece of information would be valuable.
