katie If either of the two people who got in declines, then you definitely would have a chance. I think there's also a chance of getting a PD later on

whats the minimum score for competitive school (under 300)

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure you aren't applicable for a Principal's Discretion if your school quota has already been met. School quota meaning the 4% rule. If you have 52 students in your year level, only 2 people can get into selective schools and you already said that 2 of your friends have gotten in so unfortunately I don't think there's a chance you'll receive an offer.

so there is no chance i will ever get accepted this year??

I would say no but I'd recommend that you try next year for a school like John Monash, I'm not sure if you can try again for a normal selective school next year if the 4% rule was already fulfilled the year before but if that doesn't apply, you should definitely try out again. Your scores were amazing and I think you definitely have a chance of getting into a school next year.

Nutella is it too late to apply for a PD now? also.. how do you apply for one? I was planning on getting in Nossal or Macrob.

A PD is offered by one of the selective schools but I don't think you can get a PD because of the 4% rule.

Hi, I was wondering where do I find the Melbourne High Year 9 2023 Languages and subject selection. Please, if you are able to send the link to me.

It's really sad considering how high your results were. Hopefully you can get in next year or something. Keep trying!

this cant be true, there has to be some way I can get acceptedπŸ˜ŸπŸ˜ŸπŸ™

katie The 4% rule? It means that only 4% of your school's grade can be accepted into any selective school.
