for those who got in, what were your results?
2022 Victorian Selective Entry Test Results
katie
This year there are 5 rounds of offers. The first two were in September, but the third round is Wednesday, October 19th. I'm not sure when the 4th or 5th round would be though.
It really depends on which school you go to, if your school has a lot of competition and less spots, then your chances would be lower than if there were less competition and more spots available. I definitely think you have a pretty high chance of getting in if the 4% mark hasn't been reached.
Good luck!
katie year level
BaconTastesGood ah, thanks

katie and im sorry to say this but pd is ur only option since 2 people already got in from the regular test because of the 4% rule
BaconTastesGood what's pd?
btw are there such thing as interviews
katie thats pd
BaconTastesGood oh ok
how do u get pd then
katie you have to do something outside of school but I would have thought that you wouldn't need pd because 2 if my friends got first round offers into mhs with those scores
BaconTastesGood oh . so i have no chance of ever getting in?
katie no because a public school gets infinite pds so you still have a high chance
I am in a private school though, so does it work differently here? does anyone know how to get PD?
whats the minimum score for competitive school (under 300)
katie
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure you aren't applicable for a Principal's Discretion if your school quota has already been met. School quota meaning the 4% rule. If you have 52 students in your year level, only 2 people can get into selective schools and you already said that 2 of your friends have gotten in so unfortunately I don't think there's a chance you'll receive an offer.
Ommahp Oh yeah... that's true.
BaconTastesGood How does public schools get infinite PDs then-?
