2022 Victorian Selective Entry Test Results

monket Might be something about this in the Geneva Convention lemme check
Edit: I don't know if this applies to Australia but according to a random post on Quora it's illegal for schools to track what you do at home if they have no reason to.
Hey Iâm a current Nossal students and cant confirm that this is actually the true case. I did check and apparently our school does have this security app installed but not at that extreme level. The main social platform that nossal uses is âMicrosoft teamsâ where you can communicate with other students. And I have seen much worse things than âthat was annoyingâ for sure with no real consequences. Although they did say that inappropriate messages will be flagged ( but only on teams ). There was a small discord scandal but I think that was from other students flagging it to teachers. In term of using ur laptop at home, they are quite lenient. Most of my friends have games such as Valorant minecraft etc on it. (Ik some friends who literally play val during class) donât stress too much about this (itâs really not that bad) but if you have any questions be sure to ask
justaperson_ Welp, maybe the school just doesn't actually check it too much. It is actually being used on the software though, Nossal apparently wrote a message to Saasyan Assure and it's actually on their website! https://www.saasyan.com/how-we-help/school-it You can scroll down and see the review Nossal wrote
hey, I heard you got in and was wondering...
i did the entry exam but i got rejected the first round. When are the late round offers and how many are there?
I am also wondering how I got rejected... my scores were:
verbal reasoning: SUPERIOR
numerical reasoning: SUPERIOR
reading comprehension: SUPERIOR
mathematics: SUPERIOR
writing: HIGH AVERAGE
please help
for those who got in, what were your results?
katie
This year there are 5 rounds of offers. The first two were in September, but the third round is Wednesday, October 19th. I'm not sure when the 4th or 5th round would be though.
It really depends on which school you go to, if your school has a lot of competition and less spots, then your chances would be lower than if there were less competition and more spots available. I definitely think you have a pretty high chance of getting in if the 4% mark hasn't been reached.
Good luck!
katie year level
BaconTastesGood ah, thanks

katie and im sorry to say this but pd is ur only option since 2 people already got in from the regular test because of the 4% rule
BaconTastesGood what's pd?
btw are there such thing as interviews
katie thats pd
BaconTastesGood oh ok
how do u get pd then
katie you have to do something outside of school but I would have thought that you wouldn't need pd because 2 if my friends got first round offers into mhs with those scores
BaconTastesGood oh . so i have no chance of ever getting in?
