Guys this is so random but I heard that Nossal has some strange software called Saasyan Assess or something AND IT LITERALLY STALKS LIKE EVERY MESSAGE, EMAIL, GOOGLE SEARCH AND DOWNLOAD on your computer and scans for any content that is 'inappropriate'... you literally can't say "You are annoying" without it getting flagged How doesn't everyone at Nossal have insane trust issues????!!!!!!!!!

That has to be illegal. Like I'm fine with that if it's at school and during school hours to make people aren't like doing anything bad but if it's at home as well then that's invasion of privacy. I had this thing at my school where if you were connected to the school's internet they could see what you searched up. And that's pushing the limits already but everyone just used VPNs anyways.

Also where did you hear about this?

Ommahp Yeah same, but our school can see what we search at home as well. Everyone uses school computers though so...

I just checked the saasyan website and it says that nossal high school uses it.

That's definitely invasion of privacy, the school has no business knowing what students are searching up at home.

Exactly. I pray it's just during school hours to make sure no one's searching up anything inappropriate. Knowing everyone's text messages is just creepy, like why would they need to know that?

Hey I’m a current Nossal students and cant confirm that this is actually the true case. I did check and apparently our school does have this security app installed but not at that extreme level. The main social platform that nossal uses is ‘Microsoft teams’ where you can communicate with other students. And I have seen much worse things than ‘that was annoying’ for sure with no real consequences. Although they did say that inappropriate messages will be flagged ( but only on teams ). There was a small discord scandal but I think that was from other students flagging it to teachers. In term of using ur laptop at home, they are quite lenient. Most of my friends have games such as Valorant minecraft etc on it. (Ik some friends who literally play val during class) don’t stress too much about this (it’s really not that bad) but if you have any questions be sure to ask

monket damn. I think what you search up will only matter if it puts you or someone else in danger. Such as SH or SA. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

i did the entry exam but i got rejected the first round. When are the late round offers and how many are there?

I am also wondering how I got rejected... my scores were:
verbal reasoning: SUPERIOR
numerical reasoning: SUPERIOR
reading comprehension: SUPERIOR
mathematics: SUPERIOR
writing: HIGH AVERAGE

please help
