The equity consideration category
katie
"Students are eligible for a place in the equity consideration category if they:
• have parents with either a Commonwealth Health Care Card or a Pension Card, and who
qualify for income support benefits.
• identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders on the application form.
Eligibility for the equity consideration category is verified at the application stage."
Hi all, does anyone know when the late offer dates are, and how many there will be? Thanks.
Nutella Thank you very much.
katie From my understanding, PD applications usually have to get invited to apply through similar means to the actual invitations (via email in the following rounds). The PD category is much more flexible in terms of who is invited to apply, though, and much more is taken into account than academic performance/ performance on the entrance exam.
While your scores were very high, the capacity at your school was only 2 people - which was likely what led to you not receiving an offer due to the 4% rule. My understanding is that the PD category doesn’t have to correspond with the 4% rule.
Best of luck!!
