sasushi Heyyyy so basically the reappraisal comes after the secondary appraisal and the person can have a negative or positive reappraisal. For the most part reappraisal occurs when there is a change in the situation which cause the person to have a different view on the stressor. For example, a person may have an upcoming exam (sorry this is legit the only thing i can think of) and they may have primarily appraise the situation as a threat and believe they have inadequate resources to cope as the secondary appraisal. However, after doing a trial and feeling confident with the content they may reappraise the situation as a challenge/positive. Usually there isn't a reappraisal in some generic scenarios but there could be a chance there is one if the situation changes.
Hope this helps!!

oh, yeah I was wayyy overcomplicating it then haha. there isn't that much stuff about reappraisal in the jacaranda psych textbook so I don't think its a very important chapter??

    also thank youuu!!!

Hey guys can anyone help me with question 24 from the 2019 VCAA multiple choice?

        hi
does anyone know what we need to know about the brian like the hpa axis
my notes from class dont really have much i think we skimmed over it ?

unidentifed they would be distracted towards the end and and likely only have the first letters remembered because theyd be put into long term memory by that point possibly
look at the capacity of short term memory as well

            hey heyyy,

are there any differences between the affective/behavioural/cognitive impacts of partial sleep deprivation and total sleep dep?

sasushi It would be probs be more amplified because you literally have gotten no sleep in total sleep dep, thus no REM sleep or NREM sleep, so you could argue that worse cognitive effects (concentration), affective and behaviorual as the body has NOT had time to replenish and restore its systems and functions. Hope this helps 🙃

twinklehello I completed it and the multiple choice was pretty similar to the vcaa ones but there are only answers to the multiple choice so there is no point doing short answer questions

Also guys ik this is kind of a dumb question but roughly how many marks should you aim for to get a 40+ss. I did relatively good and like only did kind of bad on 1 sac and both my unit 3 & 4 averages are over 80%

                  unidentifed

well according to the TSFX in 2020, you'd have to get 80% + (roughly 97/120 marks) and 90%(108/129) in order to get 45+

It's the same in 2021 as well, so I recon it will be fairly similar this year as well

also according to you SAC marks, its not really your sac mark but more so your rank

                  -hope this helpsxx

sasushi Yeah my teacher doesn't tell us our ranking so i only have my sac marks to help me predict

sasushi tbh i really don't know ig my class isnt too fussed on ranking coz we all do pretty good
