Anyone who sat the year 11 selective school exam in the previous years, can you please share the topics you got for your writing piece? There is not much on the internet to help with the year 11 selective exam 
. It's all year 9 or so. If you know, or sat the exam, please let us know. Tips and tricks about the exam will also be much appreciated.

Hi Mina, can you suggest some good tutorials that prepares for selective schools. My daugter is in grade 3.
I believe grade 3 is quite early to start preparing for a SEHS exam as she probably isn’t familiar with general concepts yet but anyways you might benefit from taking her to Hendersons (very good place in my opinion but a bit expensive) or maybe James An but they dont tend to explain things too much but rather just give you a practice test weekly.
Once ur daughter gets older I’ve heard very good things about spectrum tuition but haven’t studied there yet.

I did the test for year 11 this year and we got a narrative
the prompt was finding an item in an antique store and expanding on that.
We got given a quote that we could include and a picture of an antique store.
From what I remember I think I wrote about the protagonist finding a mysterious item in an antique store and connecting it with her biological parents.
