John Monash Science School caters to students who enjoy science whether that be in technology, physics or any other field. If you aren't content about going into science then it probably isn't going to be the right place for you. I've heard of people saying they didn't like the school because it's heavily science based (which is very dumb because it literally is a school focused on educating students about science fields). The teachers there as well assume the students have a passion for the sciences so for people who don't want to, it isn't a suitable school. All I'm trying to say is that even though it is a selective school, the students that will benefit most from going there and actually enjoying the learning environment is students that actually enjoy science.
I mean there are many students that sit the entrance exam just for the sake that it is a selective school but in the long run, if you don't plan on actually pursuing it, it will be worthless.
