Just got back my first ever uni assignment results (group oral) and I got 8/10! The section I was in charge of got top marks and we did frigging awesome, I am so happy with the results lol.

Another small update: no new results but I worked my first shift at the school cafe today and the people I was on with were really nice, I also recognised way more people going there than I thought I would, it's more popular than I realised and we were busy but not like super busy which was awesome. Oh and I ended my shift by making myself a babychinno with the leftover milk foam (highly reccomend lol).

Just submitted my psychology essay, and I definitely agree with the university referring to it as "the dreaded essay" because that sucked, don't know if it's actually any good but it's done. The grade is a problem for future me to worry about (present me will probs worry too, I literally cannot help it).
Anyways, hope people are going well and enjoying term 2 so far, or at least not entirely despising it.
Today has been mega unproductive but like buzzfeed and u-quiz and talking to my friends is way more entertaining than school. I did get my business SAC results released tho (93%) and i've finished my hospo SAC. Not much else going on tbh.
Just a little personal rant so feel free to ignore but like I wanna be like a fairy so bad, like the fairy-core aesthetic is so nice (I also like it crossed over with just general fantasy and cottage core aesthetics) but like yeah, I wanna wear pretty flowy dresses and have flowers in my hair and all that stuff cause like it's pretty! Anyways no point whatsoever to that rant, I simply like fairies at the moment.

I've had that phase too, honestly still a little in and out of it (not like a concerning amount dw)
We've just started looking at the key science skills so the SAC will be sometime this term? not entirely sure of the time frame yet tbh.
I am so annoyed, my HES psychology exam is on the same day as the GAT which is honestly so rude and clearly a personal attack (not serious for those who like me tend to be kinda terrible at reading tones).
It's so annoying though because i feel like June is going to be so busy with exams, the GAT, my schools formal, comic con, the CHES expo and a couple people I know having birthdays.
Like it doesn't actually look like that much in my calander but it's still overwhelming as someone who normally does just about nothing.
Anyways, just finished the practice SAC for english and should be listening to the reccorded version of a mentor text but I don't wanna (not an audio learner and like I've read it already so i have an excuse) but yeah.
Seasonal depression has started kicking in which is so fun (had like 4 crying breakdowns for no real reason yesterday) and I'm just feeeling bleh.
I am going out on a dinner date with one of my closest friends this week after our study group which is nice tho, and i've been invited to a 60's themed birthday party for my best friend.
Need to buy presents (I know too many people with birthdays at this time lol), buy food for a couple outings, pay for a formal dress (and maybe shoes) and have enough money to spend at comic con.
If I am broke by the end of the month I wouldn't be surprised lol.
Anyways hope everyone's doing well and is at least mildly amused by this word dump (or at least it helps the people who are procrastinating school work by giving them something to read).

Rey_of_sunshine agreed. our school did a formal in year 10 but i didnt go, because i didnt see a point. my friends got a limousine and everything it wouldn’t even tempt me. best choice of my life.
but i want to go this year, soak everything in one last time before im illegally thrown into the adult world for 11 days until im technically emancipated T-T. (i say illegally but let’s be honest im not moving out anytime soon i have horrible spending habits HAHAHA)
FH I did year 10 and 11 formals (didn't enjoy year 11 that much but went cause my boyfriend at the time wanted to), but looking forward to this years a lot! I've even organised to go dress shopping in Melbourne with one of my good friends (DFO because we're not rich lol).
Can definitiely relate to some poor spending habits (tend to save for ages and then spend a tonne at once) and am not looking forward to being thrown into adulthood.

like there are so many nice dresses with pretty patterns and whatnot, but suits are literally all black it is so sad (says in owning a black wardrobe) BUT LIKE YK WHAT I MEAN. i don’t wanna look like a copy and paste of every skanky dude at my school because trust me, the guys here are horrible T-T.
AND I SO AGREE. i’m in my saving era but in two months i just know all that money is gone LMAO. it’s ok because i’m living and i’m seventeen so it’s acceptable HAHAHAH
FH yeah I'm not a huge people person either lol (only had the 1 and not planning on having another, he was nice I'm just not a relationship person). Yeah, I love being a girl cause pretty dresses and heels are awesome, there are probably ways to make a suit less boring but I wouldn't know them sorry.
No offence meant but I think majority of the guys at most schools are horrible (you are obviously one of the non-horrible ones though).
Yeah, 17 is the time for unresponsible spending before we have to start spending money on adult things like rent and groceries
