SAC number one is officially done.
Business Management SAC was pretty easy (estimated at least 90% but idk) and I get to make mocktails for my next hospitality class again today!
I've also got my 'study group' tonight which will be nice, we'll see what I can be bothered doing there lol, may end up updating this again today because ATAR notes is my go-to procrastination site lol.
Happy Wednesday and hope everyone's classes are going well!

I made the mocktails and two coffees! (the coffee machine kinda scares me but i did pretty good, need to learn some basic latte art though)

Psychology SAC is now done, I think I should have gotten at least 80% (though that's just an estimate).
My subjects are pretty chill at the moment, research modules for psych (melbourne uni psych) are going fine but I'm just not fond of things like key science skills so it's a little boring to me atm but I have my first tutorial this week which is exciting. I also have an English practice SAC tommorow which I'm not looking forward to (obviously) but not dreading it or anything.
That's about it at the moment, hope everyone is going well

FH Thankyou so much and I'm hoping I was harsh and I get like above 90% lol (we got a cheat sheet so I think I should hopefully maybe?) and my English SAC is in 2 weeks on the tuesday

Anything, we had 1 hour of class time to write it and it was single-sided handwritten.
Like I love having resources there but it also makes me worried about being moderated down at the end of the year but eh, that's a problem for future me

English Prac SAC is done and I've got the results for my business SAC (95% or 19/20). Not much else has happened, oh besides we lost power for like half an hour of my study period which was fun (no internet meant I kinda did no work lol).
Hope everyone's going alright and yeah

Updates for this week: made mocktails/coffee's in hospitality which was pretty fun.
psychology has started working on operant and classical conditioning (coincidentally the topic of my HES lectures this week) and I've had my first tutorial which was pretty relaxed and everyone else seemed nice but I didn't talk much because we were online. Still waiting on my psych SAC results but it'll probably be some stage next week/the week after.
Business management has been relaxed as well (just starting motivational theories).
English is english, don't enjoy it much but I can do it. Just waiting for my prac sac results which we apparently get next week.
        Hope everyone is going well

Got my English prac sac results today (95) with the feedback to vary sentence structure a bit more and reference the authors personal life more, may get a second teacher opinion for more feedback if i can be bothered (so 50/50). Not much has been happening in my other subjects, life is boring and I'm kinda unmotivated. Probably slowly slipping back into my regular mental health as the year progresses (who need mental well being when you have good grades lol) but eh.
Hope everyone's well and don't forget to hyrdrate, eat food, sleep and all the other important stuff

I've officially signed up to be a part of my schools open day for hospitality next week which should be fun! Hoping I get to help with some back of house stuff (I've missed cooking at school).
I got my psychology results and it's an 85, I know logically it's not bad but that's worse than any other score I've gotten last year, including my exams (except the official food studies 3/4 exam) but I feel so dissapointed in myself. I should have done better, I mean I had a cheat sheet and everything, I have no excuse. I need to do better next SAC to bring my average back up where I want it. I want to dux this year so badly and I know it's only one SAC but if I can't even start the year off right how can I end with dux.
I hate that I know it's not an objectively bad score yet all my mind is screaming is about how I made mistakes. The problem with academic validation is when you do worse than you think you should of my stupid brain convinces me I'm a complete and utter failure of a human being.
        So that's fun.
Anyways, hope everyone is going alright and that your SAC's go well

English SAC is done, so no more SAC's for me this term. The topic I did was on whether or not the isolation helped them to grow (I said it didn't at all) so hopefully that went alright, i think it did but English is one of the hardest for me to judge but yeah.
My brain would not let me sleep last night, I only had mild anxiety about the English exam but my brain was just so annoyingly awake and aware, really annoying but eh. Not much is happening at the moment but yeah, dont know how to feel about the upcoming crafting texts (we're doing personal journeys which sounds kinda boring but tbh none of the topics seemed particularly interesting).
Anyways, it's nearly the holidays so goodluck with these last couple weeks and don't forget to hydrate and stuff

Rey_of_sunshine WOOOO NO MORE CASTLE FOR US!!! i feel the anxiety pain — the whole book was super annoying. and you got the boring crafting texts topic (we got protest, not to rub it in T-T).

and thanks for reminding me about school holidays… I DIDN’T REALISE TERM 1 IS ALMOST DONE!?

FH I keep it forgetting too so it's kinda a self reminder as well lol. Term 1 has gone way too fast imo, like i should not be this far into year 12 yet.
AND YAY NO MORE CASTLE! (until exams at least...)
protest does sound kinda interesting but tbh I'm just so glad I didn't get country, it sounds like it would be the most annoying to write.

Okay so last night was our open day which meant I got to volunteer to help be part of my schools hospitality and food studies display (yay!) but the coffee machine broke (not so yay) so I only helped with food studies which meant very slowly making food which some of the groups got to sample. It was fun but it ran overtime but I'm glad I did it.
Today was athletics day, I dressed up in like a proper costume (it's my last year so why not) and I did 3 whole sports (a true athlete lol) in which I did poorly in two and alright in one. Plus I was volunteering the whole day so I got to give out ribbons, run messages to the announcer, figure out who placed in each field event and helped organise some of the reccords which was a lot of fun and I felt very official and important, plus I got some compliments on my outfit which made me so happy and yeah, just a cool day.
Had my CHES tutorial tonight and we've been assigned our groups for our group project and I frigging love my group, we all got along really well and had some pretty good discussions so I think it's going to go well.
Still waiting on my English results but that's about it, oh and I got invited to a pizza lunch at the school for 'good behaviour and attendance' so free food.
Hope everyone is going well and that the last week or so before holidays goes well for you and that afterwards you get the well-deserved rest and relaxation!

g4rl1cg1rl Unfortunately not, I'm regional so it's like a couple hours to get there which isn't doable with the rest of my classes. It's cool to meet another CHES student though, which one do you take?

g4rl1cg1rl Yeah they run classes online pretty well. EI seems cool, I have a friend who does it online too. Are you enjoying it so far?

We had a casual clothes day today, and I wore bunny ears cause we had an easter egg hunt (I didn't get any but it was fun lol). I've been having more conversations with people this year and I think I've actually gotten better at making friends (sucks I'm doing it in my last year but eh).
Oh and I bought comic con tickets!! Not relevant to school but as a major nerd it's my favorite part of the year and I'm so excited to actually go both days this year!
Hope everyone is enjoying their last few days of the term
