cleooo guys dyk about how many students they take from each school? or is it still just like selective, the 4% rule or something
reyg21 cleooo i remember researching it last year and i found they changed it so it isn't a percentage number anymore. idk what it is now
sweetpotatoes123 cleooo i think the board of edu sets a cap from each skl - not a % cap but rather a discrete cap. i think they take into consideration skl size/status (i.e independent/gov)/distance but don't quote me on that
cleooo reyg21 ohh ok maybe its based solely on who they think is suitable regardless of the schools idk
cleooo sweetpotatoes123 does the rank of ur school matter? like does good private school students get dis/advantages to really bad public school students? do they consider that or nah
KingYen cleooo Uhm, I would assume that a better school would be slightly disadvantageous because they would want to provide a spread of kids?
ronnie-k KingYen probably down because selective schools tend to take more from public schools and im assuming its the same for jmss
KingYen ronnie-k I didn't try out for Jmss....I'm just curious abt this stuff since I have some friends doing it
KingYen ronnie-k Nah, I wouldn't like a Science dominated background. It's good but I like an even spread
KingYen ronnie-k But I must say, the school is amazing with the amount of science electives (Ofc ofc). I just think they need to make an admissions page.
KingYen ronnie-k it's a lot, some of the ones that have interested people in the past are Terraforming mars and Microbiology!
