Hey ATARnoters. This is just going to be a small bloggish thing I do in my free times cause why not. A quick intro into me. My subjects this year (2024) are

  • 1/2 Chem
  • 1/2 Methods
  • 1/2 History
  • 1/2 Bio
  • Other various Year 10 classes

I’m sorta excited to do them but also it’s abit freaky! I’m more than happy to answer any questions or anything of that sort!

Good luck for next year! Just wondering though, how'd you get 4 Year 11 subjects in Year 10? Since most schools (as far as I know) only make you do 1 in Year 10.

    Cardamon My school (remaining unsaid cause privacy) just kinda keep letting me accel subjects. They initially offered 1/2 Bio and History as a regular pathway, however, they later added Methods and Chemistry later! It’s not something regularly ever done so I had to go straight up to the administration to get anything like this done!

      Update #1!

      Well guys alittle bit of VCE homework and I want to go back! Holiday homework should be banned!

      • Methods: was been surprisingly fine but I know this will start to get harder from now so I’ll keep it updated!
      • Chemistry: Edrolo is so useful, but also it’s so painful cause there’s no way to get out of doing homework, a running theme in VCE. In general, a plus
      • Revs: My favourite subject and in general is so interesting. The jump from it from normal history was quite large but also really manageable! All the topics are interesting and actually looking deep into certain things challenges your world view.
      • English: The book we have (Heart of Darkness) is such an interesting book, but also so hard to read!!! I’ve resorted back to audiobooks and just powering through.

      Biology- Our quick version of 1/2 won’t start until next term, so I have a break with that!

      Update 2

      I didn’t die! The heat nearly killed me though. I’ll keep it brief though.

      1. Currently managed to be “ranked” 1 for my History, Methods and Chem which is really cool. The jumps from 9-11 wasn’t as severe as it appeared to be, however the workload has gotten significantly harder than last year. No more procrastination! (that’s a complete lie but oh well)
      2. We did drivers ed! Holy shit driving a car when you’ve never driven one before is so hard it’s literally unfair. How do people do this daily??? It was so cool though actually being behind the wheel
      3. HOW IS THE TERM NEARLY OVER WHAT THIS MAKES 0 SENSE!?! TERM 1 WENT FOR LIKE 4 MINUTES MAN : P

      well for the people who remember this still somehow, sorry for the wait I didn’t forget but I gave up on perfecting it!
