miko Nossal is hardest to get into year 10 entry, then macrob. Mhs always has a full class of students available to get into year 10 entry(25 spots I think), same with Suzanne cory. The reason MGHS and NHS are the hardest is because they rely on vacancies from year 9 students wanting to leave, meaning you have to be like top 20(out of hundreds of applicants which is insane, like 4 sups minimum) to get into a waiting list and depending on your ranking and how many students leave you can receive an offer. Though MHS and SCHS are still quite difficult, most people have already got no chance to get into those schools if they haven't built up their extra curriculars from previous years, MHS likes sports and SCHS prefers the arts, but they both seek all rounders of excellence.
