I went to my dad's friends house today and his son got into MHS last year, he went to the same primary school and high school as me (Blackburn High) and he said about 50 people were trying out and only 8 of them got in but most of the people who got an offer rejected it which were Nossal and even MHS
He put Nossal first pref by accident and second MHS but he rejected Nossal and then some how got MHS crazy luck
He said MHS was mid and that Blackburn was a bit better. Tho most students at MHS said MHS isn't as good as it really looks like.

hi guys im really confused how the test is running this year, verbal, numerical, reading, maths how many questions in how much time each?
and for the writing pieces do we have both creative and analytical? and in how much time?

Dosanjh (NHS) not really. Cus there aren't many facilities there so most girls(I think so idk pls don't flame me this is just a theory) stay inside and talk or study. That's why Macrob is top 10 in school rankings as all the girls do mostly academics.

lowk is it worth it to try for the exam. im overseas and currently go to a great school with pretty good “social status” and great friends so there aren’t any problems that are encouraging me to leave my current school. however, the final exam in hk (where i am now) for when ur in year 12 is extremely hard especially the chinese paper
so i guess i would prefer ib over hkdse. if i try out and get in macrob, i’ll have to move to melb by myself and live with my parent’s friends. i’m also concerned that i’ll be under average by a lot compared to the cohort if i get in and i won’t find friends that get me like my friends now do, since macrob is very academic focused. so idk lol can y’all give ur opinion :3
i’ve been studying for the test already but there’s a lot going on at school and idk if i can balance it and my tests at school because i can’t just give up on them, i don’t have guaranteed entry or smth

if u think it is better for u, than js do the exam, i think it is worth trying though so definetly atleast try.
