.. asianasen ohh shi. My friend said that nossal didn't do interview cus he did year 10 entry for nossal. mb got my info wrong
n1khilNossal IMO once your in year 10 focus on vce not selective entrance exam for year 11 since at the end of the day going to a certain school wont matter compared to a vce score if your planning to go for uni
n1khilNossal Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) Not really, most people who try out are people who didn't make a Selective school or JMSS. And a lot of the people who are smart enough to make have the right judgement to focus on VCE instead of EBSS. Also, even if your smart enough to make it and do the test and make it. The switch up in schools and not fitting in can definitely affect you especially if you're accelerating because your switching school when your starting 3/4s.
din Hello, Im sitting the yr 10 entrance exam for schs, I was just wondering what types of questions are given in each component of the exam and how to prepare for it in the best way possible. Any tips would be much appreciated.
Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) din You must study the year 9 to 10 curriculum and do lots of practice tests and watch you tube videos of what the exam has to offer it will explain you the format and how to do it. And lastly time yourself and use online and physical resources to study the exam topics. I hope this helps and assists you good luck.
Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) So there is 5 parts of the exam Reasoning- Reading Reasoning-Math's General-Quantitative General-Verbal Writing
din is there a lot of geometry, like circles and stuff on the edutest exam for yr 10 entrance, like was there a lot last year on the exam.
