Anonymous2007 you could try deepseek ai, it doesnt cost anything and you can put images into it but you need to make an account for it

Anonymous2007 id say go over these topics briefly since this a lot. Each of these topics seem easy, but a lot so js review this.

Anonymous2007 AI is good for solving but not good for understanding how to solve. just a food for thought

calebark Anonymous2007 Thanks so much

I absolutely agree with Anonymous2007 — it is possible to still get a study score of 30 or 40. Naturally, your exam is worth a lot more than your SACs, but remember it is your SAC rank that matters most (and in turn the strength of your class) rather than your actual SAC scores. You can read all about SAC ranks here.
Good luck with your study. Again, it's still early in the year so you have many more SACs and the exam to go.

as i await for my first train of two (first one got cancelled lol) amidst painstakingly annoying disruptions of BOTH my trains today (thanks ptv), here is an update!!
o-week was BAD. im usually optimistic but goddamn it was so boring, and everyone was really dry
, im hoping i make more friends as actual classes start. i did spend most of last week doing a final proper catch up with my friends outside of uni as things are going to get busyy- had a picnic, yap session, breakfast and brunch with all my friends, and am grabbing ice cream with one last friend tomorrow after uni.
today i don't have an actual class. at monash, they have a journalism thingy called mojonews, so im going to their meeting today and am going to join. it can help build my portfolio which i need heading into the journalism industry, so that will be a good test.
for now, i brave through the delays and pray ptv doesn't throw any more surprises.
hope everyone is well + enjoying uni/school
edit: 2nd train also got cancelled. my 1hr journey turned into almost 2hrs
it has been a long while since i yapped here and considering i cannot sleep for the life of me, i suppose i can update with the very little that changed since the last time i wrote...
i have jump-start at monash today which is scary because it's officially the first orientation event i have. already made a friend which is so fun because now im not worrying about going alone. my goal was to make one new friend and here we are reaching that goal before uni even starts (go me!!
)
i also got a scholarship yay!! it's $6k a year for the length of my course which is 3 years, meaning over a third of the fees are covered which is a huge relief. i also have an external $1k scholarship which i can spend on myki, a new laptop that i still haven't bought, etc.
it is quite scary that im adulting my way through life right now. still no success on the job side of things and i didn't get the last job i had an interview for, but i keep trying and hoping for the best.
on that note, i should technically be waking up in another hour and 15 minutes so might take a nap lol. i will update with a jump-start debrief afterwards!! take care all
Anonymous2007 if you do not want to take on the role of school captain, you really do not need to, because the role is stressful, I've been a year level captain for my school before and school captain for my primary school too, it is a stressful because you have weekly meetings (at least in my school)
you can always decline the offer, so everything is up to youHi there, for those who don't know me, my name's Rey and last year I graduated as dux of my highschool with a 96.05 atar and documented the whole thing via a vce journey journal so thought I'd continue the trend.
This year I'm moving to Melbourne to study a bachelor of arts at the university of Melbourne, double majoring in psychology and gender studies.
My classes for this semester include:science, philosophy and society
sex, gender and culture
understanding society
food for a healthy planet
Outside of school I love cosplaying, gaming, reading and cooking.
I can't really think of what else to say right now so I hope everyone's doing goodGreat tips so far already! The order I always suggest for my students are:
Title page
Make it unique and something you actually want to work on! During a study break, or when you want to relax productively, you can design one, hopefully it’s something you can hold up proudlyTable of contents
The most important part of the bound reference is to make sure you can find the information you’re looking for as quickly as possible. And the best way to do that is to have a table of contents. Side benefit is that it makes your reference look very very professionalNotes & examples
Here is where you put in the notes for the most important information in the course. Typed, handwritten, scanned, it doesn’t matter, as long as it’s readable, and means something to youMistake bank
Nearing exam time, hopefully you will have a bank of errors you’ve made throughout the year. Reflecting on your past mistakes is the best way to learn! Summarise all preventable mistakes, and lay it open next to you as you do the exam (great confidence boost too since you’ll see all the difficulties you have overcome in your journey)Seperator questions (45+)
If you’re aiming for a raw 45+, this might be useful. Seperator questions refer to questions that below 10% of students score on the examiners’ report. There’s a good chance that the same type of questions will appear, and understanding them and saving the solutions in your bound reference might make that extra difference on exam day.Blank Pages
This part is completely optional, but one of the weird things about the exam is that they don’t actually provide working out paper. So, if you’re someone like me who’s dependent on a stack of blank paper to be able to do maths, make sure you have plenty of room at the end of your reference!
VCE 2021: 99.90 ATAR
Monash Medical School Class of 2026
RAW 50 MM & SM Exam Prep ResourcesAnonymous2007 after each chapter is a good method, i did it after each class but that doesn't always work.
you can add whatever to your bound. scroll down to bound references here to find specifications.
Alright hey guys!!!!! hope you all had an amazing break so far. So tbh during december I didn't do much of a headstart rather revise on my unit 1 and 2 content cus I did really badly in some of my sacs
. Now finally I started on my headstart content because I really don't wanna go at the same pace as the school. I don't know about you guys but for my schl we finish bio content 5 days before a SAC! Is that normal for year 12 subjects? Anyways yesterday was like the first day I had been super super productive in a while. I feel like it was because I used a different technique in studying? - I wrote a whole list on what I needed to accomplish by the end of day and showed it to my mum. I feel like that worked better for me than just writing a list and not showing anyone - leading to not even finish half of my work. I work really really well with routines, but I heard so many people say that routines are ideal for VCE? Other than just doing a head start I haven't much going on, though I am going on a holiday in interstate for 3 days!

Hey guys!!!! I am currently heading into year 12 (omg I am literally so scared) and I am tryna start a journal to motivate me. I am gonna try and aim to update every 2 days. These are subjects I am currently doing: - English, Methods, Chemistry, Biology and HHD (all very content heavy) . Last year I did music repertoire ( got a 37) was very disappointed
. Anyways I hope I get into my dream course (med) and although I am scared I am just wishing for the best!
Hope u all had a wonderful Christmas and new year!well hi! i’m dani, better known as FH on atarnotes. i am a class of 2024 graduate with an 86.70 atar, and am starting university next year!!
i’ll be studying a bachelor of arts at monash university, majoring in journalism!! that was my first preference uni, so i’m glad i got that offer yesterday.
i aspire to become an investigative journalist, because that specific field of journalism seems very engaging and has so much depth. i already had to choose my units for next year, as that confirmed my enrolment at monash, and i chose the following;
semester 1:
- ATS1071 political theory in a changing world: concepts, issues and debates
- ATS1089 fundamentals in journalism
- ATS1314 introduction to international human rights
- ATS1421 understanding crime
semester 2:
- ATS1090 practice of journalism
- ATS1315 human rights and social justice
- ATS1423 criminal justice in practice
- ATS1945 issues in australian politics and government
it’s quite a diverse range of units, but i did quite a bit of looking into each unit to make sure they’d be suitable for journalism.
feel free to check out my year 12 journal here, and i cannot wait to update everything in this journal (hopefully life doesn’t get too busy and i forget and neglect the journal)

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been reading a bunch of VCE journals and thought it'd be cool to start my own. My older sister had a VCE journal from way back when ATAR Notes was still on the old forums, and I remember it being a big part of her year 12 life, so here's me jumping on the bandwagon.
My VCE Journey so far
On a whim, I jumped into my first 3/4 in year 10 - Media. I was totally clueless and had no idea what I was signing up for, but miraculously, my school approved me doing it. Throughout the year, I kept hearing people talk about getting 40s as if it was a walk in the park. So I, as a naive year 10 child, thought a 40 would be easy. Then results day rolled around and I saw a 37 - which instantly humbled me.This year (year 11), I did Literature 3/4, and put significantly more effort into it, having learnt from my past mistakes, and managed to get a 43 which I was beyond pleased with.
What's still to come
Next year (year 12), I'll be doing Drama, Theatre Studies, Methods, Spesh, and Economics. Yes I know it's a messy bunch - hence the title of this thread.I'm aiming for Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne Uni, double majoring in English and Theatre Studies (that's one major) and Screen and Cultural Studies (that's another major), with a concurrent Diploma in Mathematical Sciences (what a mouthful). Screen Studies is better known as Film Studies at other institutions but I guess Melbourne Uni gotta be unique.
Don't ask me what sort of job I'm planning to get with that. That's a problem for future me.
As for my goals, I'm hoping for 40+ in all my subjects (possibly too ambitious, but shoot for the moon, amirite?), and 45+ in Methods. Methods and Spesh are the subjects I'm most confident on. I'm not a super mathsy person, but at least with maths, if you put in the effort, you reap your reward. It's not like artsy subjects where things are just so subjective. You can put your heart and soul into a piece of creative work, but if the person marking it doesn't vibe with it, then too bad.
But anyway, that’s enough of an intro from me. I’ll try to update regularly and I hope you guys don’t get bored reading. To my fellow class of 2025 people, here’s to us smashing next year!
Tl;dr:
- Already did Media (37) and Lit (43)
- Doing Drama, Theatre, Methods, Spesh, Economics
- Goal is Arts at Melbourne
Wow guys its been ages since I was online.
Final results are out!!!Atar: 96.05
Study scores (raw):
Business management: 38
English: 39
Psychology: 41
Hospitality: 45
HES aggregate: 4.0I am so happy considering I spent a considerable chunk of the year thinking I may fail (anxiety... Yipee) but that was clearly delusional of me so yay.
But I should have enough for guaranteed entry into Melbourne uni which is what I wanted and I got above a 90 which was always my personal goal.A bit disappointed at business cause I was hoping to get at least a 40 but pleasantly surprised by english as my exam was pretty average.
In other news I have done my last con of the year (Oz Xmas edition) where I did my first ever body paint with a homemade cosplay I sewed myself with frost giant Loki, aka one of my dream cosplays from when I started a few years ago so I'm so happy. Plus I did a payed photoshoot with a photographer I like and it was incredible.
I hope everyone is happy with their results or can at least relax knowing it's over.
