YR10SEHSASPIRANT No flipping WAY. Could you tell me how many minutes of travel 14km is? My sister EVERYDAY travels 1.5hrs to and back from JMSS and it like 50km away. So surely it can't be that time consuming for u. Also, just tell your parents that they can install a tracking app on your phone or something, and that you can travel with your new Nossal friends so you won't be alone and get jumped.

what if you're travelling makes you tired and you cqnt study properly, yr 11 and 12 are crucial years. Even if u go to a local skl in point cook if u get a good atar u can do a science degree in uni and u can study calmly without the stress of travelling and paying rent. But congrats on ur offer.
this isn't something to decide off of what people think on an online forum, its a tough choice but you're gonna have to make it with ur family.
dark_fantasy i personally would go to elizabeth blackburn science school but stay in point cook cuz u can always study on the bus or train. ik travel seems like a waste of time but can be used efficiently - ik this from experience. also your pros of staying in pointcook overweighs parkville
Oh it also depends on where you want to go to uni as well, if your options are close to Parkville then it might be more convenient for you long term too
wow that is really a predicament, but the cons of Parkville seem much more personal and degrading over the long run, also 3 hrs of travel might seem like a lot but on the train you can always do work whilst on it, and this is no less tiring than doing study at home if you know what i mean, so reckon you should stay where you currently are because these are all risks that you should be willing to take for the betterment of your future, and taking pt everyday is a great life skill for future work as well

Hi! Congrats on getting in! For rent, try finding places in North Melbourne as it is still only a short walk to get to EBS and the rent is alot cheaper
Hope this helps!
dark_fantasy TY, and to answer your question I play soccer for a club. The thing is if I go to JMSS I can't really do sports outside of school as it would be extremely hard to manage travelling, training, studying and other things which could stress me out and make me fumble school, meaning I would have to quit soccer at my club.
