  • If you could have any skill without learning what would you pick?

in this scenario whichever skill you pick, you immediately become as good as the human that is best at that skill (throughout history or current), without having to spend that time learning.

i feel like i'd choose public speaking because i really admire the people who can think on the spot and eloquently put whatever they are thinking and want to say into a concise/thoughtful response with their internal thoughts flowing directly into clear/understandable/well phrased outward ideas. I feel like it'd be a skill that would be really useful to have.

I feel like the the skill I would pick is running since it is something that the vast majority of people have done in their lives and not a niche skill

I would love to be able to pick up any musical instrument & be able to play it well (when I was in primary I had the goal to eventually learn every instrument but its takes ages to be good at one)!

Lifting -- purely because I am not anywhere close to weighing 150 kg like a lot of top strength athletes, so being able to smash out a 500 kg deadlift would be hilarious.

Playing pool because the most I can do is hold a pool stick.

Also lifting. Imagine lifting cars and other heavy objects for fun. Being a small person, it would be mystifying.

To be able to learn any language quickly. That would be awesome!

making everyone around me happy! ☀️

Learn any language probably or something to improve my memory
Or sewing, one of the three

Great question! I'd choose public speaking. It's invaluable for clear communication, confidence, and influence. It benefits careers, personal growth, and social impact.

    What skill would others choose?
