also! what do we think extended response will be on?
psychology exam discussion post/ psych help
and one more thing, has anything done the sample VCAA exam? Is it worth it?
twinklehello I have a feeling it might be maybe unit 4 content like mental health and probably research methods based
twinklehello I completed it and the multiple choice was pretty similar to the vcaa ones but there are only answers to the multiple choice so there is no point doing short answer questions
Also guys ik this is kind of a dumb question but roughly how many marks should you aim for to get a 40+ss. I did relatively good and like only did kind of bad on 1 sac and both my unit 3 & 4 averages are over 80%
yeah, i agree with unidentified about the sample exam,
and for the 10 marker, i am praying soooooo hard that its CC and OC!!!
well according to the TSFX in 2020, you'd have to get 80% + (roughly 97/120 marks) and 90%(108/129) in order to get 45+
It's the same in 2021 as well, so I recon it will be fairly similar this year as well
also according to you SAC marks, its not really your sac mark but more so your rank
-hope this helpsxx
sasushi Yeah my teacher doesn't tell us our ranking so i only have my sac marks to help me predict
unidentifed ohhh how come?
sasushi tbh i really don't know ig my class isnt too fussed on ranking coz we all do pretty good
Also guys just a question, what is the cerebral cortex role in memory?
and is learning languages an implicit of explicit memory?
- Edited
unidentifed hi so the cerebral cortex is involved in storing long-term memory, particularly storing explicit memories. and learning languages fall under explicit memory (so semantic memory) - info of general knowledge/facts
also does anyone know how to answer a 4 mark question just explaining how systematic desensitisation can be used for someone with a phobia of bees?
thank you
atarwonders Systematic desensitisation is a form of therapy where the individual is exposing to a fear producing hierarchy and is simultaneously paired with a breathing technique to gradually extinguish the fear response. An individual with a fear of bees may be presented with a fear hierarchy (picture of a bee, bee in a cage and so on) until the most feared stimulus, bees, while practicing the breathing technique. Hence, this process is continued until the individual shows no response to the bees.
Hope this helps also can anyone give me any critics or feedback
unidentifed I would mention that they make the hierarchy with the psychologist because my teacher said that's really important
unidentifed thank you so muchh!!
twinklehello Thank youu!!!
heyy, can anyone explain why MCQ question 10 (of 2021 vcaa exam) is d?
sasushi basically the antecedent doesn't directly produce the response as that is the consequence, the behavior directly produces the response
does anyone get 49 MC for 2021?
