Ask me questions about the JMSS Test and Interview Process

hey im preparing for jmss too.
from anyone in the past experience, is the math componenet difficult compared to selective's?
Because from what i have heard the overall test is pretty straightforward?
also what is the benchmark lke the minimum mark u need to get interview?

Hey I'm preparing for jmss this year as well, and from all i've heard the math component is basic year 9 and 10 maths. Not as bad as selective.
1000 sit the exam and 500 get an interview so to get a interview you should get at least 1 superior, but it is possible to get an interview with no superiors but then you would need very high in all the categories. Hope this helps otherwise you can also drop your discord and ill add you to the server where we have some current jmss students and they can possibly help you with any questions you have.

also, i asked the interviewer about this last year, here are the rough numbers that yall might be interested in.

Year 10 entry: 1000 apply, 600 interviewed, 200 offered
Year 11 entry: 200-300 applied, 80 interviewed, 20-30 offered (give or take 10)
