You'll have a chance to receive an email for late offers anywhere between now to a few weeks before the school year starts. Usually there are some people who reject their first round offers. Good luck!

IZM Correct. Lots of mis-information in many previous posts. My advice is to always refer to the Information Pack by DET for the current year as it does change. This year it is 4% (in the last few years it was 5%, many years ago it was 3%). Page 9 of the Info Pack has clear information about this rule.

My understanding is the PD process has been completed for most schools with school Welcome Day/Info Evening for new students happening this week. So only a couple of late offer rounds for this year.

Ommahp Maybe the quota is 5%? I saw something in the Selective exam handbook thing and it said that for PD, it's 5% not 4.

I think there are 5 rounds this year and 2 have already happened. The other 3 rounds will be very small though, it's only for people who rejected second round offers and there weren't many second round offers. There will probably only be a few students that get these offers.

The languages selectiom form should've been sent to your parents as part of the enrolment process. Subject selection is later in the year.

I would say no but I'd recommend that you try next year for a school like John Monash, I'm not sure if you can try again for a normal selective school next year if the 4% rule was already fulfilled the year before but if that doesn't apply, you should definitely try out again. Your scores were amazing and I think you definitely have a chance of getting into a school next year.

This year there are 5 rounds of offers. The first two were in September, but the third round is Wednesday, October 19th. I'm not sure when the 4th or 5th round would be though.
It really depends on which school you go to, if your school has a lot of competition and less spots, then your chances would be lower than if there were less competition and more spots available. I definitely think you have a pretty high chance of getting in if the 4% mark hasn't been reached.

Hey I’m a current Nossal students and cant confirm that this is actually the true case. I did check and apparently our school does have this security app installed but not at that extreme level. The main social platform that nossal uses is ‘Microsoft teams’ where you can communicate with other students. And I have seen much worse things than ‘that was annoying’ for sure with no real consequences. Although they did say that inappropriate messages will be flagged ( but only on teams ). There was a small discord scandal but I think that was from other students flagging it to teachers. In term of using ur laptop at home, they are quite lenient. Most of my friends have games such as Valorant minecraft etc on it. (Ik some friends who literally play val during class) don’t stress too much about this (it’s really not that bad) but if you have any questions be sure to ask

1. I'm not sure what the Languages Studies Report is, but you only have to fill in and submit the Languages Studies Preference in step 3.
2. I'm pretty sure black and white would be fine as long as it's clear. I would personally print them in colour just in case.

Nutella Oh yeah by the way I'm from DHS (Dandenong High) which is really far away from the city. It takes 1hr+ by car from my house to Mac.Rob. My dad works in the city though, so he agreed to help me get to the school, although I will have to use public transport on some days.

Hey guys! I got accepted into Nossal as first round offer this year!!! I'm really happy and I actually did a lot better than I was expecting, but GOD WAS NUMERICAL SO HARD!!!!!

My scores were:
Reading comprehension: Superior
Mathematics: Superior
Numerical reasoning: Superior
Verbal reasoning: Superior
Written expression: High average

I'm really excited to meet yall who got in next year!!!!!! I'm quite disappointed for my friends however who didn't make it in though who still did really well, it's strange how people who did lower than others that I know got in even though there were still spots open for my schools intake.

Im going for Nossal and out of the 9 or so spots in my school, only 3 ahve been taken.
Im worried since I only got one superior, and I understand if theres no chance but I still have hope left ان شاء الله

Knowing how to play the system really helps. Like knowing exactly what the markers expect of you to write for a particular question.
