Hey y'all! I'm Lols, a yr 9 student at a decent(ish) public school. I've been on here for a couple of months for jmss, however I also ended reading alot of interesting journals and info about vce so I reckon I'll keep using these forums. Anyways a shoutout to @[deleted] cuz bros my inspo for this. I've been wondering whether I should make a journal for a while, and after she did I thought I should and she was supportive of the idea so here it goes..

about me + 7/10/25 entry

So as I've already mentioned, I'm in year 9 and go to my local public school. I tried out for JMSS this year, and I'm praying that I get accepted in because I really wanna do a science degree or medicine in uni. I know medicine is def a tough goal but it's been my dream job since I was like 7 so I really wanna try aim for it, I'd rather try my best and not get in opposed to not trying and never knowing what could've been...y'know? Anyways I don't wanna start stressing to much rn, but i think this year I might try and look at unit 1 (maybe unit 2) of methods, so I'm not extremely lost because at this stage I'll be doing it next yr bcuz of an accelerated program, but for the rest of my potential vce subjects I'll start properly thinking about that next year. My electives for sem 2 are japanese and sports performance, both pretty interesting.
Anyways, my current hobbies are singing, listening to music, playing the flute, basketball, baking and reading. After the last few hectic weeks of jmss and exams, I'm using this holidays to focus on my extracurriculars and fixing my sleep schedule. The last few days I've been rly focused on singing and spent alot of time reading and baking. I'm starting to incorporate flute and bball into my schedule cuz ive been sick for the last 2ish weeks so I got outta the habic of practicing properly.
I've been really busy with singing cuz my teacher has organised some workshops for us, i had 6 hours of singing on tues and another 3-4 hours tmrw and then a performance on sat...so yea idk how to feel. but I do love singing and music, thats prolly the one thing I wouldn't be able to live without lmao so its not that bad.
Academics wise, I'm just working on a few assignments for school and my tuition hw and tests. Next week I think I'll start slowly looking into some methods stuff and revise Japanese but yea, thats all from me. srry abt the yap.
I'll probably update once a week during the holidays and maybe a little more frequently once school starts, we'll see.
